This book is aimed primarily at the photographers market, not graphic designers.
The design direction used throughout the book was created by using a photogram technique. I decided that since this book deals with the most extreme of circumstances, and skills, the elements of the book should be treated using the most basic form of all photographic processes.
Inspired by photograms there are details in the chapter dividers and most of the pages that were developed in the darkroom just using the photogram method.
