Publishing Graphic Design That Works ................................................................. This book is an amalgimation of four titles brought
together by Rockport Publishing in to one hardback bound book. My
challenge was to some how emulate all of the titles on the cover
which included Brochure, Identity, Logo and Promotional design.
At the time I had a very nice (too hot in the summer/freezing cold
in the winter) studio with a huge blank white painted brick wall.
Perfect.
I photocopied lots of pages from each book, then stuck them to the
wall like I do with most projects - to appear like a storyboard
of ideas. Accompanied with very simple typography set in DIN.
The rawness of the photography (by Fredrika Lokholm) worked perfectly
and the wall stretched across the entire cover and flaps.
