The Big Ask
Promo ................................................................. To increase the public awareness of Friends of
the Earth and the campaign to combat climate change I was asked to
produce this direct-marketing insert.
I dislike direct-marketing with a passion, but I had an idea about
how to do this...
Following the same ethos as the rest of The Big Ask project I wanted
to avoid increasing the public apathy towards this environmental issue.
I wanted to design a leaflet that looked more like a promotion for
a new book, or film. Originally this DM flyer was all in french and
duo-toned to look like a modern-day, foreign horror movie.
It got diluted (much to my disappointment) to this.
It is, to-date, FoE's most successful dire-marting flyer though!
