Calendar ................................................................. The brief was quite simple, design a calendar for
the campaign that would appeal to children as well as be used by adults
whilst highlighting key dates for the campaign.
I chose to start the calendar from May 1st (the month that the campaign
began). Given that the campaign is about reducing carbon emisstions
by 3% I chose a colour for May 1st and each subsequent colour (ascending
vertically) after that became 3% lighter or darker dependent upon
the chosen 'hue' for that month.
The result is a calendar that measures 230mm x 690mm and folds to
A5, but more importantly has a cascade of colour that travels through
each month. Accompanied with small circular stickers for children,
families and offices to enjoy.
