The
Sunday Times The Month: Summer Festivals .................................................................. This issue, released in the May, featured a guide
to a selection of the up and coming music festivals in and around
the UK that year as well as highlights of 'music legends'.
Given its subject matter it was important to produce a creative approach
that reflected the sense of summer and the sensations of being at
a music festival.
Instruments to create the visuals included some untensils not often
found in the digital medium; pencils, tracing paper, eraser and pencil
sharpener. Resulting in an issue with a unique visual experience of
colour, texture, sound. This feature also had an interactive section
encompassing a map of Britain and a guide to the major festivals
