Red Dot like things to be comprehensive, subtle and (usually) to have hidden humour.
Given a blank canvas for designing any job, never mind a web site for a client like this can be daunting. Eventually, after several coffees and cigarettes I devised this cunning design.
originally developed as a sneer at the art world I wanted to have a gallery space for red Dots previous clothes. Frames sprang to mind and then I thought about a gallery envirnoment. I thought about one (pretencious) place in London's east end. I went about creating the whole site to appear like an art gallery – where everything appears as an installation, a piece of art. I loved it, and thankfully so did Red Dot, which is always good.
However I also believe in knowing your limits and to give this site the feeling, movement and finish it needed I enlisted the skills of Adam Frankel - developer extraordinaire.
